I didn’t put batteries in them as it’s just for show. they fit well

The candles are of good quality but unfortunately they do not work with the remote control. Previously, I bought identical candles from this store and they worked with the remote control. Why don't these work? I am disappointed. The previous ones work with the remote control, but these need to be disassembled.....
